"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." -Matthew 18:20
You're probably wondering by reading the title for this entry how in the world I managed to fit these two subjects together in one entry. Well, I'm glad you asked...or at least thought about it. It's something I've been thinking about the last few days. But it's been hard to put my thoughts into words here.
The last couple of weeks at work have been quite challenging. But one thing that has made those weeks easier and a success has been having a crew working well together and getting along. My mate in particular is a fellow brother in Christ, and a Creationist like myself. And like myself, he has an extreme passion for the outdoors. So as you can imagine, we get along great.
During the last 2 weeks we worked together, we had many great discussions about our faith, why we believe what we do, evidences that support our beliefs, and the fact that Christ is in it all. My mate was very encouraging, and he taught me an extreme great deal about a lot of things. One of those things was one of Gods little creations (or big, depending on how you view them)...spiders.
The mate on the boat was so excited about these creatures. He was able to encourage me to have a closer (much closer) look at them. So close that I took the images of the spiders in this entry using the macro setting in my cell phone. This means that I had my phone right up to these arachnids. That would include my hands and fingers. Luckily, I still have them ;)
All of this made the work week easier. It's exciting being a Christian. It's even more exciting to work with other Christians strong in the faith, and to be in fellowship with them while you work...and look for spiders!
The warm weather is here at last. Get outside just as quick as you can and explore the things that God has made!
Thank you for stopping by!
God Bless,
Kevin-
