Today is the 2nd anniversary of my blog. It's kind of hard to believe that I've been working on it for that long. But I have really enjoyed it. I hope you have too. In 2 years time 9 people have subscribed to it, and I've had 10,796 visitors. Pretty cool!
I feel like it's kind of a fitting time to have started this project in the Spring. I've wanted Christ and things that I see in His Creation to be the main focus here. Everything in nature this time of year is coming back to life. And that's what my Lord and Savoir does. He restores all things, and gives new life to those who cry out to Him.
The wild flowers down on the river behind the house are in bloom as well as the azaleas, and the wisteria. The birds are nesting, and most of my outdoor bonsai trees and potted bulbs are starting to leaf out.
If you are feeling tired and drained from the way you are living, if you feel a tug on your heart that you need to change, if you feel like you're somehow not living up to a standard that you don't understand or can't explain, then know this... The Holy Spirit is calling you out. I pray that you will submit and give your life to Jesus Christ right now. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. You aren't guaranteed 15 minutes from now. You have only the amount of time that you are on earth in this life to accept what He did for you on the Cross, and to believe that He rose from death. Stop living for yourself, and live for Him because he conquered death and He LIVES for you.
I hope you all have a great Easter weekend, and are able to spend it with loved ones and/or close friends.
And I want to say thank you to those of you who have subscribed or are regular readers of my blog. I hope if you'd like to subscribe that you will (it's free), and please share this with your friends. Get outdoors just as soon as you can and enjoy God's Creation in nature, and tell someone what Christ has done for you when the opportunity arises!
God Bless You All,
Kevin-
