Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. -Genesis 1:9-10
I went to Fort Macon a couple of weeks ago. I was blessed with a beautiful day, and thought I would take advantage of it, and see what kinds of pictures I could get. I felt like I got a few good ones. This was one of my favorites, and it got me to thinking about the verses of scripture above. While I was at the beach, I also got to thinking about how lucky I am to have all that God has given me.
I can't say that I'm proud of anything in my life simply because there's nothing I've done or gotten totally on my own. Christ has allowed ALL that I have, to be. I am thankful for the beaches and the waters that God has allowed me to enjoy, whether it be business on the waters, or pleasure. I am so fortunate to be able to live where He has put me for now, and see the colors, the wildlife, and the smells of the Atlantic most anytime.
My God is an awesome God! All great things tie into Him!
I know this entry was short, but it was on my mind, and I am so glad to be able to share it with you. Thank you for stopping by. Don't forget to take a little time out of your day to get outside, and explore and enjoy Christ's creation!
God Bless,
Kevin-
