Autumn has arrived, and it didn't take it's sweet time about it either. The season has shown up all at once with the cool air, and the smell of firewood burning in the still of the evening. The leaves won't be long now changing into their brilliant colors. They've already just begun in some parts of the mountains. I've noticed some of them beginning to change early back on the river, and in the swamp behind the house. It shouldn't be to much longer before I can get out and try for some Fall color pictures.
I've been doing a little work on my bonsai trees today before I head back to work tomorrow. If you have bonsai's or outdoor potted plants that are temperate, now is the time to stop fertilizing them, unless they are tropical. But even with them, you'll want to slack off with the fertilizing considerably by next month as you bring them in for the lowering outdoor temperatures.
While thinking on this, I thought about what Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 13:5 "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified."
Take a look around you outside and see what God tells you in all that He has made. I never stop being amazed by it!
Thank you for stopping by! Remember that the leaves will be turning soon, and a lot of the outdoor critters are starting to hibernate, so get outdoors and enjoy what God has given us!
In Christ,
Kevin-
