Today is the first anniversary of my Blog. I have had a lot of fun sharing my thoughts and photos with you all over the past year. And I couldn't have started it at a better time if I do say so myself. It's Springtime and the plants and flowers are all coming back to life. I've seen the Jasmine and Wisteria blooming, and they smell great. Critters that have been hibernating around here are starting to come out. I saw a fox yesterday in the backyard. And the color in the woods is coming back to a lush green with the Bald Cypress trees and ferns leafing out. The azaleas from the house to the swamp are at their peak.
Many outdoor activities and photo opportunities await!
I still have a lot to do before Summer with my home gardening and boat preparation, but what all there is to do, I enjoy anyway. A captain that I worked with recently told me an old quote that you have probably heard before, but it went like this..."You've never worked a day in your life if you enjoy what you do." How true is that?
Get outside and enjoy God's creation! I'm walking out the door to do just that right now!
“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”
-Genesis 8:22
God Bless You All,
